Knowledge the Purpose of the Casino Host

Throughout my career I have been asked one specific question more than any other, 'What does a Casino Host do'. It may be very difficult to answer. My best answer was 'I help increase the casino's profitability' which has been followed by a 'what''?
If you Google Casino Host, if you have been pages of definitions, job descriptions, how to become a Host. It is even placed in Wikipedia! The position even has several names; Casino Host, Player Development Executive, Executive Casino Host, Marketing Executive. The position falls beneath the marketing department and often reports to The Director of PLayer Development who in turn reports to your VP of Marketing.
Most casino players have not met a number, determine they have a bunch or qualify for a host. Some casinos can have a link underneath the Gaming tab that will introduce the Hosts for your property having a contact email. Other casinos will give you an exact play level you'll want to achieve before you decide to will be assigned tons. As stated in the previous article, the Players Club brochure will explain at what tier level you may be eligible for a number. Unless you might be a very large player, you might have perhaps never met your host, or even know if have one. Until they calls you to introduce themselves and invite you returning to the property. Better known as Telemarketing.
The casinos use a data base of all guests who have acquired a players card. The program that is used shows your play. For example; if you're slot player it shows total coin-in/coin-out and your value towards the casino. For tables it shows total buy ins, average bet and time played. This is displayed in 'trips'. Which is on a daily basis you go to the casino. It also shows what your value for the casino could be if made more trips.
Making more trips to a casino is founded on your loyalty, the customer service you obtain, maybe if you are lucky at the property, direct mail offers from the property, location and I am sure all kinds of other factors. What if you had a personal casino host that greeted you in your visits, took care coming from all amenities and room reservations for your trip making you feel comfortable in your stay? You is often a bit more loyal to that property. Guests like to have a 'contact' in Las Vegas, Atlantic City or wherever you go gamble. Even local casinos have tons program.
If you are gambling at, or frequenting a house on a regular basis and spending some funds, you have tons! You are on someone's list and really should be acknowledged. I know this doesn't happen. The business is different. It is a lot more about telemarketing and having you in the door. Personal customer service has become placed on the back-burner. A good host will make the time to satisfy and greet his guests, regardless of what the ADT. Everyone wins on this scenario. As a new player you use a contact as well as a go-to person and will probably visit often, receive more comps and progress up a tier or two with the players club. The casino will have an increase in play from you.
A few months ago I decided to test a casino in click here a large chain of local properties that I haven't been to in certain time. I held the greatest tier card in the time I was playing there and never was greeted. I went players club, received my new card and played a little. The next day I received an e-mail from tons thanking me for returning and welcoming me back. I replied on the email asking why I was not ever greeted before and why I should return. I never received an answer. Would you visit this property again?
As stated before, if you might be spending a qualifying sum of money and time, you have a number. If you feel you deserve one, ask a slot floor person who is the host on duty and talk to them. Be cordial, polite and expect some customer support. It is their job
